Production

The processes involved
in creating
costume jewellery
and fashion accessories

Where style originates: our production process

Cora specialises in the production of third-party costume jewellery and metal components for fashion accessories.

Every stage of production is carried out in-house, from the initial drawing to finishing, creating high-end products in bronze, brass and silver. Our items are intended for bijoux collections, but also for technical or decorative components for clothing, bags, footwear, leather goods and special projects.

Design

We start with the customer's drawing or a shared idea. We develop resin models directly with CAD software to simulate shapes, interlocks and actual dimensions.

Mould
production

We create rubber or silicone moulds to produce wax replicas for microcasting.

Microcasting

Through the method of lost wax microcasting, molten metal replaces the wax and faithfully replicates its shape. It is an ideal technology for high-quality costume jewellery.

Welding

Depending on project requirements, we perform traditional welding, microflame welding or laser welding, ensuring precision and cleanliness even in the trickiest areas.

Laser
Marking

On request, we apply laser engravings and markings onto bronze, brass and silver components, including on small surfaces or finished items.

Cutting
and finishing

The components are separated, cleaned and prepared for finishing: stone setting, sandblasting, vibrofinishing, manual polishing.

Assembly

We also perform manual or mechanical assembly, laser welding, interlocking and fitting. Everything is done in-house or by specialised partners.

Finishing

Reproduction of textures and reliefs with 3D scanners

We use high-precision 3D scanners in our technical department to capture and reproduce complex textures, reliefs and non-standard surfaces. This service is useful for faithfully replicating an existing element, such as printed leather, a decorative pattern or a historic surface, and integrating it into the design process. By using this system, we can digitally reconstruct the surface and adapt it to a

new metal support, while keeping the original's aesthetic identity intact. Scanning is especially useful during the prototyping and development phase, when a customer wants to keep components consistent or recover existing patterns without the need for a technical drawing. It's a technology combining tradition and innovation.
